Reservation and security conditions COVID-19 / Season 2021

Fortunately, our experience during 2020 at Bedura Park was positive. The situation required extra dedication by our staff and additional resources had to be earmarked for health prevention and safety, but our efforts paid off.

We have all come to realise that the true luxury and quality of a tourist establishment, campsite or bungalow (and, by extension, our homes and cities) lie in aspects such as space, privacy, green areas, hygiene, light and sun.

In relation to our campsite, the application of measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus prompted us in 2020 to enlarge the surface area of our pitches. Our bungalows already offered the required space and privacy due to being grouped into sets of no more than six and located on independent staggered terraces with open views across the surrounding countryside.

For 2020 and subsequent years, we have decided to further develop these quality, sustainability and guest wellbeing criteria by increasing the size and broadening the variety of different camping pitches we offer, and enhancing their privacy.

Camping pitches in 2021:

BASIC-M 70 m² – STANDARD-L 90 m² – EXTRA-XL 100m² – PLUS-XXL 120 m².

Both our bungalows and our pitches benefit from the special characteristics of our campsite’s privileged location on the mountainside, with gentle slopes, independent terraces and native woodland areas.

Reservation and security conditions COVID-19 / Season 2021

Our reservation system is customised to your needs. Upon making a reservation, a specific camping pitch or bungalows set aside for you in accordance with your preferences (subject to availability).

Capacity reductions and COVID-19 safety measures are outlined below and require a serious commitment on both sides in order to guarantee the peace of mind you require from your reservation and the security we require for the effective running of the campsite. To this end, and in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the reservation conditions for the 2021 season are as follows:

Providing reservations are cancelled at least 10 days prior to the check-in date, no explanation is required and the customer will receive a full refund.

If the reservation is cancelled less than 10 days in advance, a refund will be issued only in the event of the campsite being able to assign the bungalow to another guest on the waiting list. Guests can always transfer their rights to another person or postpone the reservation to a later date.

BUNGALOWS

  • A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay is required to confirm the reservation.
  • Bungalow reservations for the high season (17 July to 29 August) must be for a MINIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS, with arrivals on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS, depending on availability. In order to give us time to disinfect the inside of the bungalows and apply all the health and safety measures required by the COVID-19 pandemic (utensils, exterior, etc.), guests must check-out prior to 10h and check-in begins at 17h.
  • Reservations are only confirmed once they have been accepted by the campsite and the corresponding payment has been made via a bank transfer.
  • To speed up check-in and avoid queues and long waits in reception, we recommend that you pay the outstanding amount before arriving at the campsite.

CAMPING AREA

  • PREFERENTIAL RESERVATIONS ARE ADMITTED during the high season (17 July to 29 August). A pre-payment of €60 (which is later deducted from the total price) is required to formalise the reservation. Minimum stay to reserve a pitch: 5 nights.
  • During the high season, and in order to apply prevention and disinfection measures and to stagger arrivals and departures, reservations for tent, caravan and motorhome pitches will only be accepted for certain dates.
  • ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES for reservations: MONDAY, THRUSDAY AND SATURDAY (please ask us directly about other options). You must leave your pitch before 12h and arrivals are from 14h onwards. MINIMUM STAY required to reserve a pitch: 5 NIGHTS.
  • Reservations are only confirmed once they have been accepted by the campsite and the corresponding payment has been made via a bank transfer.
  • To speed up check-in and avoid queues and long waits in reception, we recommend that you pay the outstanding amount before arriving at the campsite.

Health and safety measures in light of COVID-19 / 2021 Season

At BEDURA PARK, the health and safety of our guests and staff is our primary concern. Only by ensuring the peace of mind that comes with applying strict measures can we dedicate our efforts to fulfilling our purpose as a company, namely providing our guests with the holiday they deserve, complete with accommodation, rest, leisure, relaxation and fun, surrounded by the unique blend of colours, smells, vegetation and tranquillity that only the high mountain region of VAL D’ARAN can offer.

All bungalows are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to every check-in.

Every pitch is carefully checked before the next campers arrive, and the necessary steps are taken to ensure that everything is perfect.

Our cleaning team ensures that all communal personal hygiene areas are kept in optimum conditions at all times and we apply disinfection protocols twice a day.

Communal facilities (playgrounds, barbecues, railings, etc.) are disinfected daily using officially approved products.

All the proposed measures will be adjusted accordingly to comply with any regulations established by the competent authorities.

BUNGALOWS

  • We have 7 hours between check-out and check-in to clean and disinfect the entire bungalow, both outside and in, applying all the necessary protocols to ensure protection against the COVID-19 virus (check-out before 10h and check-in from 17h).

CAMPING AREA

Caravans, motorhomes and tents.

The terrain and location of the campsite are ideal for ensuring social distancing, particularly in light of the capacity restrictions, the arrangement of the plots on terraces and the amount of free open space available. The campsite also features an ENCHANTED FOREST and an area of native woodland which campers are welcome to explore.

We have reduced the number of people permitted in the campsite at any one time and, as a complementary protection measure against possible contagion, have increased the size of the pitches, a decision which has the added benefit of offering campers more space and greater privacy. We have therefore eliminated our smallest 50m pitches, and from 2021 onwards, offer the following sizes: BASIC (M) measuring 70 m², STANDARD (L) measuring 90 m², EXTRA (XL) measuring 100 m² and PLUS (XXL) measuring 120 m².

We have also established a regular extra-intensive cleaning and disinfection service in all communal personal hygiene facilities.

SWIMMING POOL

The swimming pool will be governed by the use and capacity regulations established by the competent Health Authorities. Our idea is to establish time slots for swimming pool use in order to reduce the number of people there at any one time and to ensure peace of mind for all our guests.

When the campsite is full, the time slots will be as follows: 11h to 13.30h, first slot for families and children; 14h to 16h adults only, for those wishing to bathe and sunbathe in a safe, quiet environment; and 16.30h to 19.30h, second slot for families and children. There is a half-an-hour break between time slots during which we will disinfect all surfaces, sun loungers and other objects.

Our experience in 2020 was highly satisfactory, with no restrictions on timetables or time slots being necessary. A lifeguard was present at all times and sun loungers were disinfected before being released to their designated users.

BAR, RESTAURANT AND CAFETERIA

The bar, restaurant and cafeteria service will be maintained, complying always with the conditions imposed by the competent authorities.

Given the positive nature of our experience in 2020, we will continue with the same criteria: socially distanced tables and preferential service in the outdoor area. Our meal service complies with optimum safety standards, both as regards products and in relation to handling and preparation. Set lunch menus, pizzas, snacks, pre-cooked dishes and barbecues, etc.

SUPERMARKET – SHOP

Albeit with reduced opening times, the supermarket and shop will continue to sell basic products such as bread, vacuum packed, frozen and pre-cooked items and fruit, etc., all in accordance with strict safety conditions and the regulations in effect at any given time.

CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT- (MINICLUB)

Since this service is considered high risk and high responsibility, it will be subject to stringent measures involving reduced capacity and respect for social distancing. All the activities organised will ensure participants have the greatest possible freedom of movement and will be held outside in contact with nature: trips around the local area, games, and craft, botanical and nature workshops, etc.
